Well, Miley Cyrus is making the news again, this time Cyrus apparently took some racy pictures for Vanity Fair, but now she says that she regrets having taken the pictures at all.  Normally, I wouldn’t touch this type of story, but the fact remains that Cyrus is a pop star in her own right.  Whether or not I listen to any of her music seems inconsequential to the fact that this is the main music news story of the day.

My take on this whole story is that Miley Cyrus and her family were talked into taking some pictures at a photo shoot for Vanity Fair.  Annie Leibovitz was the photographer, and apparently her star-power wowed Cyrus so much that she and her family signed off for any kind of pictures - that is, if you believer their side of the story.

I’d bet money that what actually happened was Cyrus and her family didn’t see the issue, but Disney did.  Now Cyrus and Co are forced by The Mouse to throw Leibovitz under the bus.  The photographer will surely recover, as will Cyrus (for now).  However, one is left to wonder: does this signal a turn of bad behavior for the teen star?
