The new Spiritualized single has hit MySpace, and it’s really solid work.  It’s nothing groundbreaking or unexpected, but rather it’s exactly the kind well-constructed sad-bastard heroin music you’ve come to expect from them.  It’s very solid, layered work that has me extremely excited about the new record, Songs in the Key of A & E.

Speaking of which, I hope to pick up a copy of the new record (if they’re selling advance copies) at the Spiritualized show this Friday at 4th and B in San Diego.  I cannot yet guarantee that I will be able to take in this show, but I certainly recommend anyone in the area check them out.  I hope I can find the time to make this show.  Spiritualized is a quite good live show, no matter how you slice it.
