NME is reporting that Coldplay have nearly finished their fourth record. It was 2005 when Coldplay released their last record, so I suppose we’ve got an answer to the question, “How long does it take to make the same record for the third time in a row?”

Three years people. It takes three years.

I’m sure they’ll be touring soon, and lame people with shitty musical taste will be very excited. I suggest you check your calendar, mark off the date Coldplay will be in your town, and make a point to go out to your favorite bar that night, because it will likely be devoid of all crapass posers, lame-o’s, and general DB’s.

Big props to Coldplay for taking up the banner of “Pied piper of people who think they are deep and sensitive for listening to a certain band, but who in actuality really suck.”
